Originally known as the Canham Thomas Partnership, Canham Consulting has been in existence since the late 1970s specialising in Structural and Civil Engineering.
The business started out small, with just four employees and run from a terrace house in Norwich. In 2003, as the number of projects increased, and employee numbers grew, the company relocated to it’s current office on School Lane. Around this time Building Surveying was introduced as an additional service. Canham Consulting now runs from two offices in Norwich and employs over 40 people.
Over the years as the industry and business demands have changed, the management structure has evolved. In 2018, the Directors responsibilities were reviewed and now see Rob Panter as Joint Managing Director and Chris Dewick as Technical Operations Director focusing on business development and technical delivery of our many varied projects. Business management and the support of technical staff in the delivery of our projects is overseen by Joint Managing Director, Peter French and Finance Director, Jon Cutress. The board is chaired by David Loombe.
Changing the structure is evidence of continual development the company makes to ensure delivery of high quality projects. These changes enable us to move forward to the next generation with confidence and dynamism.
