We are delighted to have completed work on our largest project to date Pix Brook Academy, a new secondary school located in Bedfordshire.
The £24.6M project was completed in just 52 weeks and includes facilities such as an expansive sports hall, drama studio, activity studio and a main hall. Two outdoor multi-use game areas and three football pitches were included in the design.
Canham Consulting were appointed by Willmott Dixon as civil and structural engineers (permanent and temporary works) to deliver this complex project. The structural design included a hybrid of modern and traditional construction which resulted in significant savings to the programme.
